Background: The transition from Rheumatology registrar to Rheumatologist can be daunting. For those new Rheumatologists entering private practice, the transition is also met with additional hurdles such as learning to a business and employing staff. The purpose of this project was to create a handbook for registrars who are soon to transition to Rheumatologist.
Methods: Preparation for specialist practice handbooks from other specialties and colleges were reviewed. A survey of ARA NSW members was performed.
Results: Results of the survey and presentation of the handbook will be presented.
